Join the Children's Advocacy Center of Hamilton County for our first annual Help, Hope, and Fishing Tournament on October 26, 2024, at Chester Frost Park. The Children’s Advocacy Center is dedicated to providing a coordinated and comprehensive path to healing for children who have experienced child sexual abuse or severe physical abuse and engages the community in education initiatives.
Please join us for a great day on the lake and support local children in Hamilton County. All proceeds benefit the children we serve - forensic interviews, family advocacy, trauma-focused therapy, medical services, and prevention education.

Blast off at Safe Light - Weigh-In at 3:00 pm.
1. Safety and sportsmanship are paramount. Any behavior contrary to these principles will result in immediate disqualification. This includes bickering or arguing about fishing areas and space. If you feel another competitor behaves unsafely or unsportsmanlike, video or photograph the behavior and send it to the tournament committee.
2. Life vests and kill switch (attached to the driver) must be worn whenever the combustion engine is in gear.
3. All state and federal regulations apply and must be followed. Observe designated off-limits areas (intake). No locking allowed.
4. Five (5) bass (largemouth, smallmouth, or spotted) limit per boat; culling must be done when the 6th fish is caught. No dead fish may be culled. A one (1) pound penalty will be assessed for each dead fish weighed in. (All Fish must be regulation size, see Statewide Creel and Length Limits (tn.gov) for size regulation. 15 Inch Spotted Bass and Largemouth. 18 Inch Smallmouth - 1 Per angler.
5. All boats must check in at or before their designated times; a one (1) pound per minute penalty will be assessed for any boat checking in late. An official time will be given in the morning before blast off.
6. Only artificial lures may be used. All fish must be caught sportingly; sight fish must be hooked in the mouth.
7. Fishing is permitted on Lake Chickamauga waters, which are assessable by all tournament boats. Boats must stay 50 ft. from a first anchored tournament boat (the definition of anchored is: trolling motor out of the water and boat held in place by a traditional anchor on a rope or shallow water anchors).
8. Registration will take place Thursday, October 24th, and the morning of the tournament; the blast-off position will be determined by order of registration.
9. The CAC is not responsible for damages or injuries during the tournament. You are responsible for your boat and belongings.
10. All boaters are subject to a polygraph test.
11. To qualify for Big Fish, you must purchase a $20.00 Big Fish Ticket.
12. Two persons per boat.
